PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The 2026 National Transport Conference delivers four action-packed days designed to inspire, challenge and connect transport professionals from across the sector.
The program kicks off on Tuesday with immersive site tours and technical experiences, getting you out into the city and straight into practical learning, connection and conversation. It’s the perfect way to ground the week in real-world context and start building momentum early.
From Wednesday to Friday, the conference shifts into a jam-packed program of content, featuring concurrent streams, interactive sessions and deep dives into the issues shaping transport now and into the future. Expect exciting keynote presentations from Gill Penalosa (8 80 Cities), Sally Stannard (QLD Gov) Theresa Wells (GHD) and Professor Amelia Thorpe (UNSW) alongside expert-led discussions, workshops and panels that balance big-picture thinking with practical application.
Across all four days, the program is carefully curated to maximise learning, spark new perspectives and create space for meaningful connection, whether you’re in a keynote theatre, a breakout room or continuing the conversation between sessions.
The #NTC2026 program is constantly evolving, with new speakers, sessions, workshops and networking opportunities being added regularly as planning progresses.
The program explores today’s most pressing transport challenges while looking ahead to the networks and communities of tomorrow. Take a look and start planning your time at the Conference today. Explore the full program below and plan your conference experience.
