CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
To enter the competition for a free ticket, you must:
- Have less than five (5) years of experience working in transport;
- Be a Transport Professionals Association individual member or part of an organisational membership
- Confirm that you (or your employer) can pay for your own travel and accommodation (if needed) to attend the conference (the prize is the registration only); and
- Agree to let us publish and use your entry video and information for promotional purposes for the conference and other TPA promotions.
This is your opportunity to share your personal experience, ideas and perspective on how transport shapes everyday life and the future of our communities.
The National Transport Conference brings together professionals from across government, industry and the community to explore how we plan, deliver and evolve transport systems that respond to changing needs and support people at every stage of life.
We’re looking for voices that reflect the diversity of the transport sector - from how you travel, work and contribute today, to how you see your role in shaping what comes next. Whether you’re early in your career or building on lived experience, your insight matters as we work towards transport systems that are practical, people‑focused and future‑ready.
Entries will be judged by a panel of transport industry professionals, considering factors including originality, innovation and creativity.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
1. Record one or more videos of up to 90 seconds responding to one of the following topics:
- What do you love about your career in transport so far?
- If you could speak to your local mayor about transport in the community, what advice would you give them?
- How do you travel to work or study and why do you choose that mode of transport?
- Respond to the statement: “In my job I shape the future by…”
You must submit at least 1 video, but you have the option to submit a video for two or more of the questions.
We’re looking for authentic, genuine responses that reflect your personal experience and point of view.
2. Along with your video, provide a short written statement (up to 150 words) explaining:
Why you want to attend the National Transport Conference, and why winning this ticket is important to you.
This is your opportunity to share what the experience would mean for your career, learning or future in transport.
